In her farewell speech, the outgoing Queen Rosetta Reeves expressed delight for the opportunity to serve the community. And she admonished her successor to do bigger things for the community.. She disclosed the formation of her foundation ROSIE, which according to her was triggered by the sight during her recent trip to Liberia of children of school going age who have abandoned education and have become bread winners for their families by engaging into petit trading in Monrovia.

She said the foundation will provide books and uniforms as well as other education materials and incentives to needy children so as to encourage them to return to the classroom. And she called to the public for support. She honored her father Joseph Reeves for the looking after her through their struggles in Liberia and in the United States.
